In 2003 brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert applied for planning permission to convert the old mill into a distillery. Daftmill Distillery - one of Scotland's newest and smallest malt whisky distilleries. Set in the heart of Fife, we use our own barley, grown at Daftmill Farm, and sparkling water from our own artesian well to produce the finest of malt whiskies. Please be patient - our whisky is not for sale yet. It is lying quietly maturing in our bond.
