Overview

Luke Maynard and David Prather met at their Shoreline Connecticut monthly Brew Club hosted by Stomp 'N Crush in Clinton. After attending for some time they built up a great friendship over their bond for craft beer and homebrewing. They began visiting each other's homes, getting to know each other's friends and families and brewing together any chance they could get. Both have a lot of respect for the craft of craft beer, creating new recipes, using all of the best ingredients and they have loved (almost) every beer they have created. Determined to live out their dreams, they decided to start a company together and open a microbrewery. There was a lot of planning and brewing that took place, mainly in Northford, at David's home. Luke would drive the 30 mile trip from his home in Old Saybrook to meet with his business partner. Now, with the microbrewery opening up in Old Saybrook, David will be traveling the 30 miles...and 30 Mile Brewing Co. was born.
